How to use Individual Promocodes in PUSHTech – PUSHTech Help

You can create coupon lists by uploading a CSV or Excel file.

Step 1: Prepare the Excel/CSV document with a single column with coupon codes. *Note most individual promocodes should be directly downloaded from your booking engine.

Note: Each coupon must be unique. PUSHTech will detect duplicates and will not create the coupon code if it already exists.

Step 2: Go to Bookings and select Coupons.

Step 3: Click Add a new coupon list button to open the coupon creation form. Select the option Copy paste from excel. Type the Coupon's list name and paste the data from excel.

Step 4: You can add the coupons to a template by clicking the text where you want the coupon and click Select Tags.

Step 5: Select the type of tag you want to add, in this case we are going to use Coupon Lists. Select the list of coupons you want to add and click Add Tag.

Step 6: When you send your campaign. The platform will replace that tag with a code from the coupon list and assign a coupon to each contact.

If you want to use a coupon as an URL, you can add the URL like this:

https://www.myhotel.com/promotion/%{coupon_list_cupons_zdks_tag}

You can verify the status of your lists on the Coupons section located in Bookings

Note: Consider that it is important to make sure you have enough coupons to assign to your campaign audience. In the case of automations, it will pause if there are not enough coupons.

If you want to add more coupons to an existing coupon list, follow these steps:

Step 1: go to the list where you want to add more coupons and click on the pencil on the right.

Step 2: as above, import a new list from csv or copy and paste your coupons from excel.

Note: the name of the coupons will depend on how you want to keep track of them in order to identify them.
