Workflows help us to send automated campaigns using a certain logic based on a date or activity.
In this article we are going to show you how to create the workflow: Abandoned Cart - Remarketing (Emails + Ads).
Step 1. Go to Workflows in the left section.
Step 2. Click Create Workflow.
Step 3. You must have to drag and drop the contents that you want to use in your workflow. The first thing that you can use in the segment should be either Add a Segment or Add a Trigger.
For this example, we will use the Add a Trigger option. By selecting this option, you can select an already saved segment or create a new one.
Step 4. If you create a new segment, make sure you are using the correct fields. In this account the Pixel information is in our Custom Fields category. In this exercise, we want to track precisely when the user arrives one step before checkout and abandons the cart (in our case, it will be Step2).
Step 5. Click Save Segmentation.
Then, you can add time for the workflow to wait or add the following action immediately. We will configure the workflow to wait 1 day before taking any action.
Step 6. Drag and drop the option Wait time.
Step 7. Type the amount of days you want to wait, in our case, we will select 1 and click Save.
Step 8. Let's add an action. We will specify if the reservation was made or not. To do this, we need to add an If/Else option with the following segment:
Step 9. If the reservation was made, then we will add a Finish option, because we don't want to do nothing else with that users.
Step 10. If the reservation was not made, then we will send an email suggesting the user to go back and complete the purchase. To do it, use the option Send message and fill in all the basic information of the message.
Step 11. Add a waiting period, for the user to act, we will add 3 days.
Step 12. Add another If/Else option using the segment we used in the step 8. If you want to send another email to the users that haven't booked anything yet, repeat step 9.
Step 13. If you want to finish the workflow, you must add the Finish option.
Step 14. Once your workflow is ready, click the Save workflow button.
Step 15. Name your workflow, select the settings that best suits your preferences and click Save Workflow.
Note: Our workflows feature will allow you to set multiple things, this is only an idea of what you can do. For further information about workflows, reach out to our Customer Success Team customer.success@pushtech.com.
