Background images can help create visually stunning email designs and make it easy to overlay text onto photos without having to edit the image files themselves.
Row background images
Use this option if you want your background image to only populate on a part of your design.
Step 1. Select the row
Step 2. Click Row Background Image located on the editing tools
Step 3. Select the image you want to use as a background row.
Step 4. Click Row if you want to apply the image to all the row.
Step 5. If you need to resize your image to fit the background, click the button Fit to background.
Design background images
Use this option if you want to apply a background image to your entire design.
Start by selecting the Settings tab in the templates builder. You will see a background image section in the sidebar.
Step 1. Select the image you want to use.
Step 2. Same as before, If you need to resize your image to fit the background, click the button Fit to background.
Note that all rows must be set with a transparent Row background color and content area background color.
Additional Settings
Repeat: Multiple repetitive images. This works well with smaller images or symmetrical patterns.
Center: this option will center your background image
If you use Repeat and Center simultaneously, the effect is similar to Fit to background. With these two options selected, the background image will repeat rather than resize. For example, say you created a background image specifically for one design. The dimensions may be important to the integrity of your overall design. If this is the case, consider using this combination of settings.
