How to guide for setting up your Preference Center and your Data Protection Email.
Step 1. Go to your Account Settings and add your Data Protection Email Address. Note: This step is mandatory for GDPR compliance.
Under your Company Information, add your Data Protection Email Address. For example: firstname.lastname@example.org
Optional. Add your company logo for your Preference Center page.
Step 2. Create a list of different contents that you will be sending to your contacts. For example: Newssletter, Special Offers, Travel Tips, Others…
First thing, go to your audience/contact list
Click on Create a New list and add a name to your list of content.
Choose “enable” for inserting all your new contacts into this specific list of content. Or choose “disable” for not pre-including your new contacts into this specific list of content.
Decide if this list is public or private for your contacts. Public lists will display on your contact Email Preference Center, while private lists are only used for helping PUSHTech users segmenting their contacts.
We recommend having a minimun of 3 lists of content, from which your contacts can decide to subscribe or unsubscribe.
Step 3. Go to your Preference Center and setup a range of time frequencies within which your contacts would like to receive your marketing communications.
Go to your Preference Center.
Click on Add a new preference item and enter a name for your first time frequency.
Select from hours, days, weeks or months.
We recommend giving daily, weekly and monthly options.
Your preference center is ready! Your contacts engagement will be higher and you are much closer to GDPR compliance.
